The Meadow

represents your mind

Imagine standing at the edge of a wide, open meadow. One day, you choose a path and begin walking across it. The next day, you follow that same route. And then again, and again—until over time, the grass wears down and a clear path forms.

This meadow represents the way your brain forms pathways

With repetition, your thoughts, beliefs, and emotional responses become well-worn pathways—automatic ways of seeing yourself, your relationships, and the world around you. Some of these pathways support you, but others can keep you feeling… stuck.

Now imagine that one day you wake up and realize you don’t like the pathway you’ve been walking, and you want to forge a new way across the meadow instead. That’s where we come in!

Therapy is the process of forming new, intentional pathways in the brain

It’s deciding you’re done with old patterns, and ready for new ones.

Together, we notice the paths you’ve been walking—without judgment—and explore where they came from. And when something no longer feels aligned or helpful, we begin the work of creating a new, healthier way forward.

With patience, intention, and support, a new path can take shape—one that feels a whole lot healthier, and a whole lot more like you. And eventually those old, unhelpful pathways simply…disappear, once again swallowed up into the meadow of the mind.

So the image of the meadow is here to remind you that change is possible

And the good news is that you don’t have to do it alone - we’re here to help!

The Vine

represents your healthiest self

When you picture a vineyard, you likely imagine rolling hills covered in lush, thriving vines. What you probably won’t picture is what those vines look like after they’ve been pruned.

At certain times of year, a healthy vine is pruned, or cut back—sometimes dramatically. What’s left can look pretty bare at first glance. But although it can look drastically different to what we imagine a healthy vine to be, this process of pruning actually isn’t harming the plant—it’s caring for it. Pruning allows the vine to conserve its energy, strengthen its roots, and grow back fuller and more vibrant in the seasons ahead.

In many ways, self-growth and healing can feel like pruning a vine

Together in therapy, we gently begin to notice the parts of your life that may no longer be supporting you—old patterns, painful relationship dynamics, ways of thinking that leave you feeling stuck or disconnected. And with intention and care, we begin to let go of what isn’t serving you.

This process is all about making space for growth. It’s about supporting you in growing into the strongest, healthiest, most resilient version of you.

Therapy can help you prune the parts of your life that feel stuck or disconnected

But therapy can also help you rebuild a stronger vine after life has already cut you down. Sometimes, people come to therapy already feeling pruned by life - stripped back, fragile, unrecognizable from their normal, healthy selves.

If that’s where you are, we can help.

Healing is not only possible—it’s something we can nurture together

With support, patience, and care, we’ll get you back to the healthiest, most vibrant version of you.
