You don't need to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. Many people come to therapy because they feel anxious, overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected in relationships, or simply want support navigating life's challenges. Therapy can provide a space to better understand yourself, develop new coping skills, process difficult experiences, and create meaningful change. It’s always a good time to understand yourself better!
-
The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other. We'll discuss what brings you to therapy, your goals, relevant background information, and answer any questions you may have. Together, we'll begin developing a plan that feels supportive and aligned with your needs!
-
Most clients begin with weekly sessions, as consistency often supports the best progress and allows you to form a trusting relationship with your therapist. Depending on your goals and needs, we may adjust the frequency over time.
-
There is no one-size-fits-all answer. Some people come to therapy for a specific issue and achieve their goals in a few months, while others choose to engage in longer-term therapy focused on deeper personal growth and lasting change. Any amount of time in therapy can positively impact your life and your health!
